Hi, the light on my cooker keeps going off. I have it on and have followed the instructions but after like 10 seconds the light goes off and then comes back another 10 seconds later. Is that normal?

Do you have the timer function set? Try turning it off for a couple of minutes at the wall and start again

Did anyone get a response on this? I’ve had mine installed today and I turn it on it glows red then it goes off and comes back on - it’s still heating up the food though? Any help please

@@gracethompson-yates3965 that's how ceramic hobs work. They cycle on and off to help regulate the temperature you've set the dial to.

Is it normal is off and on every 5 seconds ? I mean I turn it on is red than in 5 seconds is off than again automatically gets red again. Is it normal like this? I just bought few days ago and I have no clue how it works

You might have the timer function turned on, try turning off at the mains and then back on after a few minutes.

The H is for "hot". As a warning so you don't touch it

Why does it say Timer? I’ve just had one installed and thought the display was for time, - still can’t work out whether it’s time or temperature level, as sometimes it seems to count down. Also what is the button to the left of the buttons fir the rings for? I got no instructions with mine and I’m confused

Hi the timer is another function on the hob. You can set it to turn off after a set period. Turn on by holding the power button. Hold the square that relates to the hob you want on. Then press the + button up to 9 if you want. To turn off, do the reverse.
