At long last, we reached the finish line, I present to you the strongest Saber Gilles possible!
Good God, finally I'm done with this, I won't 120 someone for a very long time probably, but hey, now I can work on Columbus, let's go :)
Anyway thx for the support, this may be the end for maxing out Gilles, but his true journey has just begun, stay tuned for more content✌️

Well making him a semi-support is a interesting take but I would probably hate it, he's pretty clearly meant to be a dps since Tactics is pretty obviously only for lore reasons on his kit. Instead of making him viable as support, they'd rather double down on his very real dps potential by making him more consistent with smt like a bigger star bomb, star Absorbtion, Crit up and definitely a longer duration for his ATK up, making him a semi-support would make him even more awkward to play since there are way better option for both DPS and support.

I have a fun story'. So my friend have like 3 JP Account and he gave me 1 of his bcuz he's to lazy. He's not a New player but bcuz he play the JP withouth even know the Language, he doesn't know anything about the System and such (he only cares about the Women). He thought Grail was not something Special so he give it to Waver till lvl 100 but the other Grail goes to Good unit like Morgan and Ozy. He never do any of those Interlude and Rank up. It's like one of those speedrun Account. But the most impresive part was him have Caesar and Serenity at Bond 10 Lvl 1 meanwhile his Ozy & Morgan as main Grailed Servants doesn't even got a Bond 5 yet😂 He already cleared LB6 and i ask him how tf you go through Cernunnos and such and his answer was "You can revive anytime you want" He also keep Hundred of Tickets and a Total of 1.700+ Quartz. Btw all of his 5 Star was atleast NP2 lol my man is a fuckin treasure

Btw, i think he have Bond 10 Lvl 1 servants are because he used a stronger version of those Servants, and then just show you his newly acquired Caesar or something like that. The bond level is the same across all copies of servant, but not the stat of course.

It's pretty interesting how rainbow chains affect Gilles specifically cause normally buster units don't benefit as much from it considering they have to give up the BBB damage bonus for a rainbow chains but because Gilles can't even BBB in the first place he does get a bit more out of it. Or at the very least you don't really have to sacrifice bigger damage for higher crit chances for him.

I love Gilles final ascension art, but goddamn I hate the fact that he has support NP. If it was a Buster ST NP, then I would use him in a heartbeat like how I use Bedivere.

It would be fine if he had a triple buster deck or if his np was a buster card as well, it being arts and his inabillity to Buster brave chain just throws so much potential damage in the trash. Tbh I'd love it if they would hot fix his np to being buster while buffing it, that would be awesome But I wouldn't like it to be a St damage np, buffing himself is what makes his gameplay so fun in the first place, his effects just have to be stronger so it's actually worth it to bring him

Well, i've yet to see Buster support NP (I can't think off the top of my head) but I felt the same too. His deck really cap his damage for being an intended "crit servant with buster buff". It feel so weird to use him, but I do agree that he need a stronger NP upgrade. Perhaps a permanent Buster buff to himself, like how his skill his. I do see the similar of Saber Gilles and Caligula. And I also love to use Caligula so maybe if they fix Gilles, then I'll use his even for fun

@@frds_skce well Himiko has a buster support np, and her crits are ridiculous. Gilles being arts is just awkward, others can pull that of like Orion (who has triple buster) or to a very lesser extent Hozoin who isn't Buster focused. And tbh idk how to feel about permanent effects on his np, wouldn't make that much of a difference since with no way to defend himself, it would be rarely 100% worth it. I just want them to pump up his numbers on his np, make the Atk last at least 3 turns, give him a big Crit up and increase the star bomb to like 20 stars. Double that with a s1 buff that gives him Star Absorbtion and perhaps more Crit up for his buster cards and we have ourselves are pretty viable unit. Still nothing close to Caesar, Bedi and especially Fergus but he will at least be a unit that can be worth it to bring.

I would say don't do it, definitely because of stat reason. But he's fun to use if you enjoy having longer fight than needed.

If you like a character or find them interesting gameplay wise there's no reason not to invest into them except maybe your account is short on resources and your roster isn't strong enough to justify getting a niche unit before some others that would be more useful. But if you not care about that or you have strong back up options go for it, it's your account and your gaming experience
