I think it can store some readings. I don't use that feature actually..

it makes higher number % around water pipe inside wall. so it is hard to evaluate wall is wet or not. becasue we don't know where pipe lines hide. also metal inside wall effects it. also confusing.

Thé meters only read a very small distance into walls. It is very unlikely you are catching a pipe. If you are catching something linear like that, you should be able to follow it. Metal Corner bead on drywall will do this. Metal also reads very high and falls back to normal fast. Water has a more gradual fall off. Remember that pipes leak or can create condensation that causes water damage. We are just looking for clues... keep looking.
