Great intro video. A couple of safety tips. NEVER use an ohmmeter on an energized circuit. Know your voltage source. Verify your meter on a known source before and after testing. Always test before your touch. Keep up the excellent training videos.

Hey Tim, admire your teachings. My micro850 has been bricked after CCW asked for a firmware update while uploading a program and after clicking ok, suddenly connection was lost and the Fault and MS indicators are flashing red and the machine won't show up in the RSLinx. Please help.

Firmware failures can be tough.... Can you connect to it over USB?

@@TimWilborne Thanks for the reply Tim. There is an update. Today when I'm powering up the PLC, the flashing red lights are gone and I'm able to see the plc in CCW over Ethernet as well as USB. But when I'm trying to connect, after a minute or so, the Fault and MS indicators start flashing red again and the connection fails. Is there any hope?

@@khanjanboruah I have heard of people recovering them through a SD card update but I think it's time to call Rockwell Support.
