I was using a similar method to be able to get two uses out of each vault... I got three heavy cores in the process from two different chambers!

I found a glitch when in the nether you put a minecart and then put a mob there then use a rail that pushes off the mob (i dont remember how is it called, it needs redstone to activate it) in the nether portal and then enter the portal and delete the minecart shere the mob is sitting there with a wind charge and the mob will disappear idk why lol

You can also keep making world copies and keep using the key on the vault until you get something good.. Then just rename the world back to normal

What are the chances of getting a heavy core out of the ominous Vault? I've been looting about 25 tricky trial structures with about 4 tresors each and I havnt even gotten an enchantment book for the mace... How rare is it, I got tonns of notch apples and templates but no mace
