How to Use a STATE MACHINE in Godot

Hello in todays Godot tutorial i want to explain and create a state machine so we can learn basics of how a NPC's animations work and you can have a better understanding for games you want to make in the future.

this code is not yours exactly the same code was in the youtuber HeartBest video and his video was poked out 3 years ago I'm from Russia and used google translate so there may be errors.

not exactly, watched his video around a year ago and have been making my state machines in the same style as it is the best way to do it. So I though it would be nice to come on and help explain what I have learned and help new developers learn as well.

State Machine is a concept. No one owns the idea or implementation of State Machine.
