Digging the talk about the beard being part of your lifestyle. It's definitely become a part of mine, and I can't see myself ever being clean-shaved again. Gotta stay fit and feel comfortable with ourselves all while improving our imperfections.

Awesome dude right here! You got another subb!!! I have the exact issues you were talking about.. I want my line to be on point all the time and if I mess up a little I’ll keep poking at it to try and fix it and end up pushing my line down.. I have to listen to what you said.. there’s always next week I need to learn to walk away and come back next week.

Couldn't agree more with the barber lining you up part. In all honesty, I would recommend getting beard lineups from barbers at all. I learned my lesson. When I first started growing my beard and got my first lineup he brought my shit too far down and did too high of a neckline. If you're trying to grow your beard out it's best to learn how to do it yourself. I'm still trying to learn myself lol. It's not easy.

The best addition you could ever buy is one of those round mirrors on a stand that when you flip to the other side it magnifies your face. Available in 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x and 20x which is to much....i got the 5 and 7x and its works wonders! you can sharpen up your beard/moustache/goatee to a tee!

@Adamas113 жыл бұрын
Awesome and chill vid 👍 I love the way you used the shavette to line up your cheeks. What about your neck? I keep a short stubble and use a Mach3 cartridge for line ups. Quick and easy, but not super crisp. I ordered a shavette and excited to try it out. Practice makes perfect on straight razors and shavettes, especially when using it on yourself.

Thanks for the tips man. The idea to create a beard template was a stroke of genius. I can't believe I never thought about making one. Thanks for the idea 👍 Also, bit of an odd question, what kind of a mirror are you using? I'm using a single flat wall mirror, but it's always a pain to try to get the right angle to touch up the sides of my beard. I feel like I'm just gonna snap my neck trying to do the side burns 🤣💀 Really appreciate the advice and help you provide mate, don't let the few crappy and ungrateful comments here dissuade you from the amount of help you've given us. Thanks again!

B, where can I get one of those templates? I'm in Europe for grad school and it's difficult to find a decent black barber. Story of my life. My barber is a good dude. He really is. But this dude drops my line like half inch each time! I tell him each month (yeah...I'm a contractor, so I only have time to go like once a month) ....anyway, I keep telling him to keep it wide...and what does he do..he narrows it! My beard is wide enough to grow an inch lower than my damn eyes! Meaning, there's plenty of landscape to work with! Frustrating. But like I said, he's a good dude. Hard of hearing. But a good dude nonetheless...
