The only variant I do is put rubber cement on the auger and I also dress the plug with cement. Thank you for sharing!!

Have you had one leak without putting the cement on?

@@pinkcaddygarage267 I have never done it without. The kits I’ve bought all have the cement. I actually bought a can. The little tubes are always dried up on the second use.

On this kid, the plugs are slathered in some kind of tar like adhesive and no cement was included so that’s the only one I’m familiar with. The only time I had one of these not work was when I got frustrated and just drilled a big quarter inch hole in my tire with a power drill. After that, the plug did not work. I know, my fault. Had to put a patch on it. Working on that anger management thing.

@@pinkcaddygarage267 You don't reveal any anger in the videos! Great job! I have seen some kits that don't have the cement. I know that the tar is on all the plugs. Maybe they have a special tar on the brand you got? If it works your good to go! I like the cement because it actually makes the auger and plug slide in easier. Also I noticed you went all the way in. I didn't see if the whole plug went inside the tire? If you pull it back up you know what I mean? I just push the plug in to where I have about an inch sticking out then half twist the tool while pulling out.

I watched it on my phone earlier and rewatched on my big screen PC & do see that you didn't sink the ears into the tire. I also cut off the excess. You should be golden. No anger..... lol
