Do tomato plant halos work?
Well it's all about getting the correct amount of water and nutrients to the root system of the plant. For places like poly tunnels and greenhouse the top soil can dry out very fast, creating an issue with water use bouncing off the surface. This is where the halo comes into its own.

I wanted to keep this video as natural and as short as possible. When planting up, you will see soil over spill into the drain, we will all get this unless your super tidy. However don't panic there is an easy fix for this.. After the plant is watered in you can simply lift of the halo, clean it out then put back in the same spot. "very easy". You can also add a layer of grit to the top if you have a busy life and may go a few days with out watering. Please Like and comment if this helped you out 🙏🙏🌱🌱

I'm trying to give you guys the best advice early on, without the filler and waffle. 😂😂 I will say I have grit on top mine today to stop the moisture. 🙏🌱

That's my most used item 🤣🤣. The float boards from my kids swimming lessons. Much better on the knees than anything garden related you can buy. 🙏🌱

Great update Glen, I use my halos for my cucumbers in the poly as most of my tomatoes are outside. I fit two halos inside each other that way when your back filling you lift off the top one and voila the other one is soil free. Happy gardening 👩‍🌾, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
