What I Like: - You described the markings on the parts - Printed schematics help visualize the circuit - Closeup of breadboard so it's easy to see individual components. - Length of 15 minutes is good for my schedule - You speak clearly. Can't think of any negatives. Very well done ! Thank You.

I wondered what if you want more range what value gives more range say i wanted to change a 1k variable but not enough headroom even on full what would be the next up

I made an automatic video switcher with 2 mini relays for my car. Front and Rear Camera setup. The front camera is triggered by a SPST rocker switch and the rear camera is triggered by reverse lamp signal. When the rearcam comes on it interrupts the front camera if it was on (by design). During the interruption there's video interference for a short period of time. How can I create a 1 sec delay when I switch between cameras ? I have a diagram, do you have an email address so I can show you ?

No email sorry. I'd look at 555 timer delay circuits that people have put together. Good chance that somebody has done that exact project and posted it online somewhere. Good luck!

Awesome 👍 video! Great details 👌. I have a question? Where can I purchase a trimmer that includes a knob like the one you were using better yet where did you purchase yours? Do the trimmer potentiometer comes in one mega ohms too? Again thank you so very much for this very informative video.

Thank you, that was very helpful. Do you have PDF's of your sheet available or is that something that is offered on Patreon? I think I have the same trim pot from Elegoo.

No PDF, I don't make those. I probably posted the diagram in a few places including Patreon. Quickest to find it on my webpage electronzap.com/trimpot-trimmer-potentiometer-voltage-divider-variable-resistor/ . Thanks for watching!

Thank you, electronics is now my retirement passtime. Can you help me, I'm stuck on building a toggle switch (spst) with computer fan circuit.

Good times! I haven't done anything electrical with computers. Lots of people build computers, so that's probably a topic with lots of detailed tutorials somewhere.

@@Electronzap Forgive me for not being detailed. I striped the fan from a old computer and want to build a breadboard circuit with a switch to turn it on and be able to regulate the speed.

Oh gotcha. You can probably wire it directly to a power supply of no more than the maximum voltage as long as the connectors and everything involved can handle the current (power). Hopefully the voltage and current are written on the fan or can be found online if it has the part number. Some fans run on AC though. So I'd check out wiring up fan videos until there's one that fits what you want to do.

Would you be willing to make and sell me a tester for a level gauge? Im looking for 5 equidistant values between 33-240 ohm to represent Full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, Empty. 33, 68.25, 103.5, 171.75, 240ohms. All mounted inside a small project box with a 5 selector switch?

Never made anything like that, I don't really build stuff and never want to do any financial transactions or ship anything. So unfortunately I can't help you with that one.

You are a smarter man than i, im struggling to figure out what resistance trim pot would be most suited to re centre a 10K DS4 side axis potentiometer self centering deadspot position if its started to experience in game drift or a newly fitted replacement is out of factory centre callibration. Without messing up the in game response curve if it would do that at all across the resistance range with to high a rated part? Minimize any potential problems that could arise in part selection. Problem found here at 4 : 50 in this vid for familiarity. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rILIpJp3qddlm5Y Any information much appreciated on selection wiring & or parallel attachment? Your vids rightfully in my research playlist for all to see at 15 currently. Was thinking hot glue 4 trim pots to a suitable board location wired straight to the 3 pins each. The current purchased solution in vid 22 is $15! a pair & closes off the bottom not allowing rapid 3 pin side desolder replacements when needed. Landfill products.
