Thanks! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for weeks, so my dad doesn't have to keep doing it!

Hi. I understand the video but what if the water starts squirting out at the connector while pumping. Are the batteries full or is it a bad connector? It’s only my second time using it. The first time I didn’t have this problem. Thanks.

I have a system like this, but have trouble squeezing the bulb...it is too hard. I know that no water has gone into my batteries and the water u is not traveling through the hose even though I am holding water jug up.

So which is it? Do you have a bulb to squeeze? Or a jug that gravity fills?,....Ive never seen a system with both, in any event, if the bulb becomes too hard to squeeze it is likely because the batteries are full and wont accept more water, similarly, if the batteries are full the gravity tank will also no put more water in, So without further input from you I dont know how to answer this issue other than to say that these systems are really just "salesman fodder",....they are any easy easy sale cause it makes your life easier, HOWEVER, it comes at a cost,....Sometimes the little floats that hang inside each cell can become stopped up and quit working, you think your filling the battery, but some cells may not be getting any at all,....bottom line, in my past 20 years of history with golf carts I have seen these systems ruin more batteries than you care to talk about,...Its best to go back to the whole cap removal inspection way of doing it!!

I have this system installed in my EZGO. I hear the click but the bulb is always hard and never pulls any water. At this point I’m guessing the cart business I bought it from installed incorrectly. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it still doesn’t take water. Batteries were new when I got it and they seem to be losing performance.

How often should this be done?
@cartsmd65243 жыл бұрын
Water should be checked in lead-acid batteries every two weeks MINIMUM regardless of filling method used

I thought it was gravity feed (higher than the batteries) after initially getting the water flowing. No pumping required.

Hello, Mike, what does the fill hose cost?
@cartsmd65244 жыл бұрын
Most fill hoses with the bladder style "squeeze bulb" are $30-$45, The most common brand/style is that made by Flowrite, and should cost around $40

Thanks for the information. Should I water them after a full charge? I’ve read that watering them before a charge could cause overflowing and damage. Thanks.
@cartsmd65244 жыл бұрын
@@HapPap81 , When your batteries are being charged heat is being introduced to them, the heat causes exspansion to the acid/water inside tha batteries causing them to spill over, also causing corrosion on batteries, terminals, and frame as well, ALWAYS charge batteries, then fill....also, look into an empty cell, see the "corrogated lead plates" , they need only be filled about a 1/4'' to 1/2'' above them, do this and you should never have a corrosion issue, see our website on the "Pro-Tips blog section for more info at www.cartsmd.com

I have the same system. It's complete garbage. It overfills the first two batteries, and the other two still need water. And* the system was installed at the dealer. Cool concept, but it overfills your first few batteries (water coming out of caps), and the others still need water. Not cool, man Edit: And the system was installed at the dealer

Im not endorsing this product here, Im just showing how to use it, BUT, given what youve stated I can assure you something is amiss or the fill system is too old, find a reputable company, have them inspect or replace the system
