How to use a Windsurfing extension.

Great extension. I use it with my point-7 c80 490 mast and it's as far as I know the easiest to pull the downhaul. There is only 1 thing that concerns me. The ring of the extension that supports the mast is not perfectly flat under compression. It's supporting the mast on two small contact areas which is now damaging the mast when my sail is under full downhaul tension. Might worth looking into that... Any advice how to fix that is welcome. I have reinforced 2cm of the base of the mast with some epoxy and sanded the bottom to match the shape of the ring.

Ciao Leon from when is the extension. On latest versions we have widened the ring. In case the mast at the base widens it does it only a bit but does not expand further due to strong reinforcements in it. You did well to send paper. Thank you for feedback we can look even more into it for further improvements.

@@AndreaCucchiITA1Ordered the extension in April 2019 from the website. I hope it doesn't get worse. For now it's fine and there is no crack but I took some precautions to avoid the mast peeling like a banana when I'm on the water :)
