Good guide, exactly the same as I configured. I am trying to connect mine PM862+CI853 to my PC's Modbus simulators (modscan, modbusPoll). PLC port 0.3 status is -7013 (unexpected byte count received from slave), and on 1.1 and 1.2 CI853 ports status is -7000 (Communication interface removed). Fun times with ABB, am I right? Made my own wiring RJ45 to DB9 with ABB support instructions, could be faulty tho.

This is interesting, I'm assuming that port 0.3 you are using the built-in serial port on the AC800M base, usually that error is because you are exceeding the max number of register you can read at once. This communication is one of the most undocumented topics in their manuals. LOL. Thanks for stopping by.

@@tuned_loop_labs Just an update for anyone stuck on similar problem. After 2 days I resolved the issue, after many known and unknown status codes (-7000, -7013, -30 and so on). Just had to restart PLC (INIT button) and it worked without problem hehe. CI853 seems to bug for me if I change port baud rates. Then I download the PLC without CI853 card, and then I insert it into configuration again, and it works that way... For the cable RJ45 RS232 it seems that any cable from the store will work since it has default pin configuration RJ45 (pin3 Tx, pin 4,5 gnd, pin6 Rx), RS232 (pin2 Rx, pin3 Tx, pin5 gnd).
