Hi, thanks for this video, I hadn't thought of this as a way of working. I too am having latency issues, which is ok I set a realtime delay on the midi track & that fixes it. However this does seem to be a moving target, as I add plugins to the session, so the delay changes & I have to adjust it, I start with like -60, then I'm up at -170 for the same feel. Any solution for that? Thanks!

Very helpful! Is there a way to minimize latency other than the playback engine buffer size? this setup is very close to working if I could iron out the latency between Ableton and Pro Tools

I didn’t experience any latency so I would imagine it depends on what plugins your using, sample rate and buffer size.

Is there a way to record in pro tools while the instrumental is in ableton, n not have a timing issue? When I turn my click track on, there’s a small delay in the music n the click in PT.
