I have daikin fvmx floor unit and the "smell proof" function was hidden inside the secret menu (a "menu" button in place of your "back light" button that needs to be pressed for 2 secs) and is by default turned off... do you have any idea why ? Also - there is a function that stoppes the fan from blowing when temperature is reached. When would i need that and is it better on or off ?

It can't be restored because the buzzer has been damaged which is located on the PCB of the indoor unit. Only the way to restore is to open the PCB of the indoor unit and then remove the old buzzer and install the new buzzer.

I have a different remote. I would really be most helpful if you would speak a bit slower and show remote clearer. I don't have a 'good sleep' option. However, my unit does not cool sufficiently and goes off constantly. I'm continually resetting the breaker box because once it turns off I CANNOT turn it back on without doing so or utilizing the remote. After which the green light(s) blink until I turn off/turn on the breaker. This is my 3rd year attempting ''HELP'' with this matter. There was NO product manual because they're placed in a rental property... Frankly, I'm miserable. I apologize for rambling. My main question is: How to I cancel the timer so the unit doesn't automatically shut off, necessitating I reset my breaker box constantly? Thank you!

The set temperature increases by 0.5 degree C in 30 minutes until the total increase the specified shift value. In your case +3C and 1H current temp 24 C After one hour temp will be 25 C

This option shifts the temperature value to 1°C/hour for the specific time. (0.5°C in 30 minutes) For ex. Good sleep is enabled, and the temperature shift value is +5°C, OFF timer at 8 hours and the current temperature is set at 18°C. After 1-hour AC temperature will 19°C After 2-hour AC temperature will 20°C After 3-hour AC temperature will 21°C After 4-hour AC temperature will 22°C After 5-hour AC temperature will 23°C And then for the remaining time, the temperature will be at 23°C.
