​@@KaushikMajumdar15 Great point. Luckilly, I had already enabled that in the past when the phone display was working. That's allways one of the first things I do on a new Android phone. And now it has greatly repaid it self.

I'd strongly recommend anyone who intends to use this to play games to look at the bitrate flag. Newer versions may default to a better bitrate (1.16 defaults to 8Mbps, which is probably fine), but the older version I was using needed a bump to smooth out the blockiness. Otherwise it's perfect, except that whole sound thing.

Hey can you tell where to enter the commands like there are lot of ways people showing to run the scrcpy. I just click on scrcpy.exe. And when I try to use resolution changing commands or anything I can't type in that terminal. I mean I'm not use to cmd and adb terminals. I'm confused

Is there a way to read values off of the screen using adb? For example: playing a game where you have stamina and have to wait for it to regen. Is there a way to read how much stamina you have?

I’m looking for a USB-C splitter for my Pixel 7 Pro that can connect to its USB-C port. The splitter should have two female USB-C ports: one for connecting USB-C Apple EarPods to make phonee calls, and the other for charging the phone and supporting data transfer. This data transfer should enable USB debugging mode, allowing me to use the mirroring application, scrcpy. I’ve noticed that most products on Amazon only support data transfer on the port that supports audioo, but not on the charging port. Can you recommendd a product that meets these requirements?

ok im pretty braindead when it comes to this stuff not sure if anyone will see it, but help would be appreciated. i got the app working fine i can see my screen and even got the audio streaming aswell. im looking at the readme and there are tonnes of command executables i think theyre called such as --window-borderless or other things like always on top, where do i type these in? i go to my windows command prompt and type them in nothing happens, aswell as in the black window that runs for scrcpy, can someone tell me where and how i type these commands in to get borderless always ontop etc. also the ctrl+click and move doesnt function for pinch to zoom, not sure if anyone knows a fix?

It was just two commands for me : *sudo apt install adb* *sudo apt install scrcpy* Linux is so much easy to get things done!

They would differ only in ADB version. I suspect the supplied ADB version that comes with Android Studio will be fine with scrcpy.

Don't forget, if you want to save battery while using adb & scrcpy, be sure to turn your brightness all the way down ;)

Or you can press LAlt+O while scrcpy is running to turn off display on your device while still keeping mirrored display on.

Hello! I have a problem. Could you please help me? I once had a phone that fell down and it's screen broke. I had custom rom and root there. I also had usb debbuging enabled. But when I boot it to normal mode my pc recognises my phone as cd drive. Basically I do not have access to it. If I go to recovery mode Everything is fine. My pc recognises this as a phone and I have access to my phone. Do you know how could I connect to my phone to pc so that I could controll it with a pc in that situation? I can't connect scrcp to phone when it's in recovery mode.
