To me personally, I don't like to use the sub weapon power up when I use the curling bomb, because I think it might mess up with the aim and timing I have with it when I charge it. I throw a lot of curling bomb with partial charge, and the fact that the curling bomb distance might change because of that ability, makes me think it might not benefit me... but that is just my superstition, I have never tested out fully.
