Finally one of my favorite items in the entire game gets the recognition it deserves. Allusions is so strong and its i-frames are so good being able to parry or roll through moon when bonk cant. Also the infinite combo is so fun to do ESPECIALLY in tc when you have allusions tank. Fantastic video 10/10

Definitely one of if not the best melee in the game for its mobility, double i-frame moves, and how little skill you need to use it. There's no practicing your aim, no need to switch between three items like with Beta JGN; all you have to do is m1 cancel and abuse the good CD with both abilities to infinitely stunlock anyone you get in melee range without any real counterplay. Also I would rate Darkheart low A - dashing into a contested point and harassing enemies with Tornado keeps you alive for a while, and successfully outdueling melee users with your sword keeps you alive for way longer than normal, sometimes letting you tank hundreds of damage no problem. In a similar vein I've used map geometry to lock people up with Dang and use press to wipe pushes. Similarly I'd swap Big Rock and Sink, as Sink at least stunlocks anyone you hit it with, but Rock gives people a brief window to get up and dodge (plus it drains your health when you use it and grinding for the Max HP isn't viable without a support player pocketing you).

Definitely the best IMO. -brain dead one shot combo -infinite hitstun if played properly -gives you good mobility if you cancel the first m1 -a ton of s with good cd As a sidenote the UI synergy is pretty cool. (Albeit there are some better ones in that regard.)

That 'problem' with Roll rooting you in place, from what I have found, is a great mixup tool. I have tricked people into trying to run past me, only to stay in place and hit them anyways. When it works, it works.

I thought I was good with allusions. I mean I wasn't bad but there were a few things I didn't know For starters, I was unaware roll had I-frames. I also thought it was impossible to combo m1s into roll (which is kinda stupid because I knew about Equip canceling.) I knew parry had I-frames but I never utilized it for some reason I didn't try to hit multiple people by flicking my mouse so the hitbox yk hits multiple people (I was also aware of this, never utilized it.) And even then, I was still cracked with allusions Allusions is even more under utilized by the people i play with, they don't cancel, they don't use parry, they use roll far too late after the m1 combo. Allusions is a really good weapon, I want to see a kit that gives you like 500 health, just allusions and see how that works out.
