Awesome. Do you need dongle for every controller you add? For example if I wanted to add 2 PS4 controllers do I need 2 dongles or will the single dongle allow you to add 2 controllers?

If anyone is having trouble getting two controllers connected to a powered hub so you can have your autobleem on the second usb, I've found that if you boot the system with the standard controller in USB 1 and once booted unplug the controller and plug the hub in and then the controllers are detected it works with two 8bitdos,maybe some kind of authentication?

The power draw is limited Either do a power mod, use a stick that uses less power, use a hub that has external power or do the otg mod

Recently grabbed one to mess with, & had a logitech f310 usb controller, tried it & it was recognized instantly & autobleem asked me to map in the main menu & in retroarch it was recognized right away without having to configure it or select anything else.

Thats cool I think the logitech percisions work as well but the buttons seem mixed when I mapped it. And The F710 I had trouble with idk if anyone else tried that either.

@@yoshimitsusamaka2238 well you could map it to the d-pad but that would be no good. because analog control means, you can push it all the way or only part of the way and the game will react accordingly. if you map it to the d-pad, it will be as if you always push the analog stick all the way.

The cables of the controllers that come with the Playstation Classic are about 1.2 meters (4 feet). However, there is a really long HDMI cable included and you will want to be able to reach the console anyway to press Reset etc., so the way to do it is put the console on the floor or a table.

Everyone knows this. However no one in their right mind would prefer no analog sticks for nostalgias sake. Analog is 100% better than the Dpad for games that support it.

You can use just about any WIRED USB controller on a PlayStation Classic without any dongle like this. Plus play hundreds more games. It is a USB game loader called Retroboot that runs a custom RetroArch multi-platform emulator.

The original PlayStation did NOT have analog. The original Dualshock control was released later as an option. It did not come with the PS1.

Has someone figured out how to connect arcade sticks to the wii mote in this hack? I have a mayflash f300 arcade stick, xbox 360 arcade stick (usb). Is there a USB to wiimote connector? or is there another way for my arcade sticks to work with the playstation classic? I bought this for Street Fighter, and I could use controllers on anything else. Why is this so hard?

What everyone seems to forget to test is -- does the analog stick actually WORK ANALOG. Because when I use this adapter, the analog stick pretty much just does the same thing as the D-Pad. Once you push it far enough in a direction, flank speed ahead in that direction. You can't just steer a LITTLE BIT into that direction.

But if you get the TrueBlue Mini usb sticks, then you'll change your opinion of the PSX. There are different kinds, 3 are already out called Crackhead, Meth and Fight. C and M has 101 PSX games and Fight are just 58 fighting games. 4th one is called Weed which contains 99 games. TrueBlue website has games list for each stick but don't buy them from their website's links, just use amazon or ebay.

DON'T GET THE BROWN ONE. Trying to play Syphon Filter and it randomly spins or takes off running. There's firmware updates but they all put an irritating cursor in the left corner and I don't think any of them fix the broken controls. I wish someone would just make a legit Dual Shock for the psclassic or an adapter for an old one.

nope, but it is because in most Ps1 games, the second analog wasnt used til when the ps2 came ot the analogs werent used to move cameras, the r2 l2 buttons where used to rotate the camera in most psx games, though one exception was ape scape, I can assure you 90% of PSX games didnt use the second analos stick, as I said the camera rotation was natively asigned to the bumpers mostly. Hope it clarifies, is not that this adapter doesnt detect the analog stick, is just simply that the games werent programmed to use it in the first place.

Xbox 360 controllers do not work with 8bitdo. U have to download a couple of programs from 8bitdo to get DS3 controllers to work. U forgot to mention that u have to unplug it and plug it back in to remove the floating mouse cursor.

Yes you need additional softwAre from the 8bitdo website and you pair it with both devices plugged into your computer using that software.

@@sascham.8607 No idea mate. I've only used the nes classic version which just works as is, not sure how the PlayStation classic handles it. But I do know you can rebind the controller in the emulator settings (select + triangle if you're using bleemsync, ESC on a USB keyboard if unhacked) so if it doesn't do analog straight out of the box, I assume you can still set it up manually. Might have to change the controller type as well, pretty sure dualshock is supported by the emulator so I assume it works.

The analog stick isn't actually working. 8BitDo has mapped it to the d-pad rather than sending true analog inputs to the system, which is why it also works in Destruction Derby (Which predates the release of the Dual Shock by two years).

I don't have a PS4. Although I have thought about getting a PS4 controller to use on PC (and PS classic) to see if I like it better than my Xbox one controller.

@@FishBeeProductions Go for it, the PS4 controller is probably the best PC controller so far in my opinion, if you use DS4Windows you can use Gyroscope (for BOTW) and the touchpad as a mouse, also the LED telling how much battery is left. I barely use my PS4, but I use my DS4 all the time on PC (and PS3).

no, but u could connect a usb hub , for qdded usb slots then buy two of these bluetooth adapters and you can then con nnect 2 controlers, us the other ps port for a bleemsync mod and usb games
