Hello, I have Masters of Engineering in Electronics and Communications. However the degree is listed is Masters of Engineering in Electronics. Do I need Statement of comparability in this case ?
@SohailKhan-yy2xc3 ай бұрын
i have also heard that the degree should also be listed or say associated with your university. my university has H+ status and my degree which is BS Software Engineering has A4 status in university degree section.. but, the degree is not listed on my university detail page and similarly my university is not listed on the degree detail page under 'lending institutes' .. if you get my point please help me out

Hello, my bachelor's degree is verified in anabin website with the H+, that means that is partially recognized in Germany, right? So, in this case, i can apply directly with it in the chancecard new program, or i still need to apply for statement of compatibility?
@faizi32874 ай бұрын
Mam under University column the degrees option here in below you said this means the degrees has been recognised in the past but some KZbinr said your degree name should be there otherwise you apply for ZAP equilancy?
@HalloGermany4 ай бұрын
Hi, unfortunately this is not handled the same way for every process and location. It is however required in many cases that your specific degree is listed under the university. I have just launched a new guide on how to apply for the Statement of Comparability. You can find it here in case you need it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaqqXqqDbMx3hNE

Hi, sorry to hear this. You could check if you have sufficient work experience to apply for a visa without a recognized academic degree. I'd suggest you to run a quick check on the Make it in Germany website: www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/quick-check

I am from India. I recently completed my Master of Science at ETH Zurich, Switzerland in Robotics, Systems and Control. I have got an offer from ABB Munich to work in Munich & parallelly do PhD at TU Munich. So I need to apply now for Blue Card Visa to move to Germany. I saw that one of requirements was to submit a document from Anabin database stating that my university & degree are recognised by Germany. I was able to find that ETH Zurich is there in database with H+ certification. The MSc is also the in degree types. However, the specific MSc program I am in is not there in database currently but there are other similar MSc programs. So, as ETH Zurich is a renowned European university with H+, would it be fine if I give university proof and degree type proof in Switzerland's German Embasse?

hello and thank you for your videos. my question is; My bachelors degree and university are both recognised in ANABIN. But my masters degree is not there under the list whereas the university I had my Masters at is H+, do I need any further document for a blue card application?

Hi, if you have a bachelor's degree in the same field you will be working in then you can apply with the bachelor's degree.

Hallo. Thanks for the informative video. I have a doubt. I have a masters from Germany Msc. Do I still need to do the anabin recognition ? I am applying for job seeker visa since I have exhausted my 18 months stayback after my masters.

Dear Rajesh, the recognition is not required for academic degrees obtained from German universities. All the best for your jobsearch!

Hello, Same question as like Hassan Dar. I am applying for work visa less the 56k, my Bachelors degree was showing in Anabin Database but doesn’t shows my Masters degree. My job role is like my Bachelors degree. In this case do I need to get ZAB certificate of Comparability for Masters?
@HalloGermany Жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry for the late response. I hope you got this sorted in the meantime but maybe it's still interesting for other candidates. If you have a recognized Bachelor degree that fits the professional field you are going to work in, then you usually don't need to submit your Masters as well.

Hallo, does the industry an applicant want to work in have to be related to his/her degree? For example, is it acceptable if a doctor (graduated from a medical bachelor degree) wants to work as a software developer?
@HalloGermany2 жыл бұрын
Dear YALÇIN, in most cases the applicant needs to have a degree in the same field as the job. There are a few exceptions though, for instance the IT specialist visa which is also available for software developers. You can learn more about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIbJlImhltWJh6M.

HI , I applied for a Blue Card and got a response from the case worker. They're asking for proof of my foreign degree's comparability with a German one via Kultusminister Konferenz or anabin-Auszug Studienabschluss. I sent screenshots showing my university as H+ and degree as A4 using Anabin website. Is this enough, or should I also apply to KMK?
@HalloGermany11 ай бұрын
Hi, is your degree classified as "entspricht"? If yes, then the extract is usually sufficient.

Hello Mam,how are you doing today? Can you please clear a question for me? If my University in Anabin database is H+/-, will there be any problem choosing a engineering subject?
@HalloGermany2 жыл бұрын
Hi Hasan, thanks for your comment. Did you check if your degree is listed on Anabin? If it is not listed, then you will most likely need to apply for a Statement of Comparability to find out if your university degree is recognized.

@HalloGermany2 жыл бұрын
Hallo Alma, without knowing your documents, I'm afraid I can't judge if the information is correct but maybe these pointers will help you: Make sure that you indicate the degree program and the subject area in the original language (not in the translated version) and that you use exactly the same spelling as on your certificates. The professional title could for instance be a title you earned as part of your degree program. Often there are instructions for this in the country-specific document checklist you can find on the KMK website. You can also leave the field blank. In Germany there is the professional title "Ing." which engineers carry in front of their name. This title is protected by law and may only be used if you have a separate recognition for it. However, this is not mandatory to work as an engineer in Germany. You can find more information on this here: prorecognition.in/recognition-for-engineers-which-procedure-is-the-right-one-for-you/.
@HalloGermany2 жыл бұрын
Secondary school information refers to the high school diploma that allowed you to be admitted to university. The first degree refers to a degree you obtained before the one you want to get recognized. I guess that this does not apply to you because you hold a Bachelor's degree.
@noobplays51342 жыл бұрын
Halo! This is what's contained in my statement of comparability. Does this mean my degree has full recognition and I can apply for a blue card? Bewertung Der ausländische Abschluss wurde nach einer 3-jährigen Ausbildung an einer nichthochschulischen Einrichtung erworben. Er entspricht formal einem deutschen Hochschulabschluss af Bachelor-Ebene.

Hi David, I'm sorry to hear that your program is not recognized. Maybe there is another visa category you could go for? You can find information on the different visa categories here: hallogermany.com/blog/work-visa-residence-permit-requirements

@@HalloGermany Hi Jana, Neither they verified from the University and nor they go through the UGC website properly to find the correct details. If they go through then they not rejected my application. Because ZAB comes under Ministry of Education and Research (Germany). They are not replying to my emails. Should I raised my issue to EU Commission. My program is recognised but they are not verifying properly and my job is to hire best engineers from the market for IT companies from last 6 years and don't know whether IT specialist visa will be right for me or not.
