Forgot to mention this, but yeah it has slumber as recovery. Would I recommend it? Not really. Its moves that it gets are imo more valuable than slumber because you can get better match ups and you will already be very bulky with Elusive procc'd. Still nice to have if you want.

Jamiy is actually considering changing Elusive to half damage when YOU are the one statused. So Slumber would definitely be amazing on that if that change does occur.

Slumber is still pretty good for defensive sets, it lets you absorbs statuses like poison or burn

I unironically have grown to love this guy a lot over this event so fwr design is sick gleams look nice one of the most wild type combo moves in existence we should probably be glad tho that this thing is a pure ice type, because if it was ice/light we'd have chienta 2.0, and probably even better than chienta if it was ice/earth tho, we would quite literally have scarfox in LL, but probably just as bad if it got STAB from undermine, which already becomes 140 power when used first turn...

I would still actually use deep freeze for upperhand sets. SmallGenius showed me that the overall concept of it is possible with ice essence and some R. Atk investment. This can be used to break through the 1 wall you straight up struggle against *Luminami* *Also I notice you forgot slumber on that Defensive borealisk set*

It’s very easy to take advantage of because air is immune to earth. A lot of air types are common in ace and expert.

Counter point if borealisk uses undermine it can force a switch stopping your opponents momentum, you also resist air moves, not to mention if your using energy orb or ice essence you can switch to using icicle tremor

⁠​⁠@joelbouma1640 the whole thing is, it’s a two turn move. it’s the freest swap in for any air type to immediately set up on you (e.g. avitross comes in easily and gets up a rev up boost for free, stratusoar comes in and clicks magnify, snagoop comes in and clicks buck up (yes you do outspeed snagoop so you can hit it on the next turn but buck up marksman sets run clutch plushie), etc). most airs also have plenty of coverage that can hit you for neutral or super effective damage.
