How to use ASI Studio "Deep stack".

A basic introduction on using ASI Studios version of deep stack to load your images. The picture is NGC 7789 Open cluster. The camera is a zwo 553MC (colour) Pro. I also used a baarder IR cut filter to help reduce star bloat.

Very helpful video Dave. Encounted some problems in my final stack however. When I load Flat frames and stacking begins, the stack dosent finish. If I remove the flats there is no problem. Do you have any suggestions as to what is causing the stack to be stacking but not progressing

How would you compare or rate ASI's Stacking to Siril ?? I have both but have never tried ASI Deep Stack

Great video. I'm using ASI Stacker and after loading (using only light frames) and stacking it just gives me a black picture and nothing I do on the histogram is changing it, any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Im obviously assuming your using an ASI camera?? Whats your set up??

@@davesteelsastroimagingchan7058 Thanks for getting back, it's a 130SLT AZ mount and ASI120MC. I think I know what's wrong, I looked to the bottom screen and it reported out it 'ignored' all the frames. I'm thinking the camera moved a lot and gave blurry pics.

@@dcharlton07 Hi there...........well I find that the newer version software of ASI studio does this, so I went back to an older version. And then its fine.

@@dcharlton07 see if you can get version 1.5.3 its an older version, ive no idea why the newer versions seem to be so dark, the older version is exactly the one in the video. If you look for me on fbk (David john steel) I could probably send you the file via messenger (think it might work) if you cant find it.
