Hi Greg, do you if you can add more than one target audience for a file? For example, we have training documents geared toward specific business areas. However, sometimes the same training document can be used for multiple business areas. Can this be set up? Thanks.

Absolutely, Diane, you can specify up to 10 sec groups (audiences).

Hi. I've been trying to do something like this but on a Hub site - showing something on a library in one of the sites linked to the hub, but I still see all the documents not just the targeted ones. Is this possible to do? thank you

Should not be that way, probably has to do with security groups you use for targeting

I am using mail enabled security groups. It works within the sites but not on the hub.

So, if I wanted to target audience some documents in a Document Library I have to do it inside the Document Library one by one (and it's ok), and then insert a HCWP WebPart inside the page that pickup this targed Document Library. It's too bad, though, that the HCWP is not very customizable, especially if I want to show the documents in the list view, but I can't edit/change/customize the columns (which are always Title, Modified, Modified By). Sometimes I wonder why SharePoint complicates life, when it would be enough to apply Target Audience in the Document Library Webpart. Life's mysteries.

@@SharePointMaven and, if I'm not mistaken, in SharePoint 2013, every single webpart, from the most lame to the most complex, could be assigned to target audience...

@@fabriziomele4289 Probably, I forget now, being a while since I used SP 2013.
