I appreciate that!

Another hint you can use the dimension that picks up all the wall faces and then edit witness to delete and clean a string up. Use a subtractive method vs additive when a wall is long and complex.

Anyway to make this work with structural framing?

Man, I'm subscribed, and I have the bell turned on, and I'm demolishing that like button, but 75% of your videos could be 75% shorter. You especially love to go on a "this is the wrong way to do it" tangent :D People usually like to know the right way to do it! It's OK to caution, but not half of the video. The other day I was watching your video about placing the object on the correct height, man, I forgot what you're talking about about half way in :D Sorry, not trying to be a prick, hoping you'll take it as a well meant constructive criticism. Maybe try scripting a bit before recording, to give the lessons a bit more structure and straightforwardness. All the best and thank you for free lessons!

Thanks for checking out the videos, Gad. And I really appreciate the criticism! I think what you said is great and I have heard it before and do tend to agree with you. I like to give the other side of a lot of things more to reinforce why I prefer a certain way. I admittedly dislike videos who direct viewers to do something only one way or what they deem to be the best way without informing me of other ways or why that would be best in their opinion. This does make for longer form videos but my hope is that folks have a better understanding of how to do something and why rather than this the only way to do X. Thanks for the kind words, I will do my best to be more direct in my videos.

@@ArchitectureVanguard -- In other words, "Thanks for noticing, but I'm still going to be incredibly long-winded." =/

Perhaps so haha, but I will take it into account. Believe me, it is not the first time I have heard it. I tend to hear more positive notes on covering subjects fully but I do know it is too long a lot of times.

@@ArchitectureVanguard I 100% Disagree with the idea that the videos are too long because they talk about the wrong way to do it. If you are serious about your revit model or a perfectionist, you will want to know the correct way and the wrong way. I think that is what makes your videos great even though they can a bit long at times but hey that is the cost of free admission. I am very glad to see the wrong way because when I see the wrong way I understand why someone would use that alternate method and sometimes it needs to be done that way in special circumstances. There are hundreds of Revit videos on specific items, very short videos. I think if someone really wants to find a quick answer they are better off watching those videos. Keep up the good work.

@@ArchitectureVanguard -- It's cool. I understand. I guarantee that if I made videos they'd be every bit as long-winded. 👍🏻
