All I see is self parking demonstrations in really really easy and spacious spots and that's not really where help is needed for most. Can you please show case the parallel and perpendicular self-parking functions in challenging situations istead?

Most of these measure the spot as you drive by and will let you know if you can fit. So yes they do challenging situations.

I'm sorry but I no longer work in the car industry and I don't have access to these vehicles anymore. This video is perpendicular parking, if you mean parallel parking, it follows the same process. Drive by the parallel parking spot until it picks up the parking spot, it will display as a parallel spot rather than a perpendicular one, and just follow the same steps and it will pull the vehicle in for you.

If drive mode defaults to efficient/comfort setting at every start up until M1/M2 is pressed. What is the quickest way to go back to efficient/comfort once M1/M2 is pressed during drive?

Has to be between 2 objects. Sometimes 1 object will work, but the car doesn’t always pick up the spot.
