Bollinger Bands give you a range within which the stock is expected to move. It's a means to measure volatility. When the stock breaks on either side [ up or down] it's referred to as a BB breakout

It's a pretty simple and easy strategy. However just an observation that in the chats it wasn't the first candles that broke through the upper B.B but rather the second or the third and then set was then based on that particular candle. Is this done just as an example to simplify and explain the process? Also where do we place our initial SL? Would be at the entry candles low or the recent Swing low? Yes, I believe it works for smaller time frame too. In fact, I do use it on 1 min and 5 min time frame, and found it very helpful and easy to use.
