I have a 5* R5 sig 200 capt. A method i use in war is parry heavy. In plat1-2 he can kill most defenders in under 15 hits with crits dealing more than 15k with the weakness debuff with a science champ. If a champ can be stunned even the mini-bosses wont last more than 25 hits with parry heavy method. Adding in the L2 for good measure. Add that damage with the fact that he takes 0 damage with a parry you can go your entire line taking no damage potentially. Capt is truely underated compared to Corvus in war but his damage is compareable and if you can stum better IMO.

Cap is a solid champ without but he becomes a different monster with the awakening especially with high signature that will help you in many things, armor break, petrify, shrug debuff etc all thanks to his sig ability. Your call if you want to wait, even Ghost is still pretty solid unawakened so if you used the gem on cap then got Ghost right after it would not be the worst thing, she is still quite useful unawakened.

great, he is also a great option for Emma Frost in the Uncollected. 5 Star people are spamming heavy attacks until they get to Sp2 and then unleashing his special 2 preferable with 5 kinetic charges up

I got a few more on the channel and am making more. As to your question he does not restore the Degen, however if you have the science synergy you can place a weakness on him and take about 50% less damage, I did an example around 22:00 mark.. Hulk was taking about 160 per tick, if I didn't have the science synergy it was about 320 a tick.

yes most likely, that is the games new way to get around nullifying and such. I just tried it to make sure though and it didnt restore it, so passive surely immune. There is a Dorm in 5.3.4 right at the start if you want to test with a science and skill teammates

They are both nice options to be honest. I do not know your skill level or the rest of your team but Blade I still use more than my Cap IW and I have both of them maxed out. Regeneration is really nice and can save you so many resources on your quest to finish 5.2 and ROL. If you got Ghost Rider and Stark Spidey even better. Cap is nice with his sig because you can do things like armor break, reverse regeneration with some set up, purify debuffs, etc etc which is also quite helpful but thinking back I probably rather have blade for Act 5 but that is my personal opinion, always nice to have that fall back regeneration but I do not think you can go wrong with either.

For quite some time I was thinking the same thing about Blade and was about to use it on him, but then someone mentioned CAIW and how useful his abilities were and because I am stuck on 5.2.4, I ended up questioning myself. My masteries have 1 in Despair, 3 in Deep Wounds, and I think 1 in Assassin. I have a lot of bleeders on my roster. I have a duped 3* Blade that I tested out on WS, and he did well, but because he’s so huge in comparison, one mistake can mean death, so testing out his regeneration capabilities doesn’t last long. Lol. I’m sure once I give the gem to Blade or anyone else, Kabam will give me 7 duplicate champs. Gotta love Kabam. Anyway, Thanks again and keep on rocking this videos. Very awesome!

yes it can. More points makes it easier of course. Look at it this way. The higher signature level of your Captain America will give you more successful chances to get petrify, the more petrify debuffs you have on the opponent the better. That is the main key, the despair just makes it more effective if you have more points but it can be done without if you can keep those petrify debuffs active.

thanks, yes the back is getting better every day but it is a long recovery process. I am walking, started swimming again, some light exercises. As for your question they are both amazing options to rank up. Kind of depends on what you are looking for. If Labyrinth is your future goal or even uncollected (not sure how far you are along) then Stark is amazing in Labyrinth and taking on the Collector boss. Stark has crazy damage but you got to charge him up a bit, plus he has got some utility with the power drain and so forth. Cap on the other hand has an amazing SP2 especially when you got him charged up and with fury. His ability to bash through unstoppable, his sp1 that can bypass things like Medusa's autoblock and then like you said once he gets duped he has all sorts of fun abilities with his leadership. I must say this would be very hard decision if I was in your situation but if both duped I think just for overall enjoyment I probably take Cap but I do think you can't go wrong with either,

Cap is a good counter for The Champion because as long as you have your kinetic charge up you can bypass his unstoppable. As for the regeneration well his Special 2 does a crap load of damage and if you happen to have your Cap America duped and bring in a tech champion your petrify ability can also go into effect with a well timed parry or block, this will reduce both power and regeneration, also having some points in the petrify mastery will help as well. I did not mention it in this guide as this guide came out before The Champion was introduced.

also fighting against champion just bait out his heavy attacks and his specials, they are easy and since you can bypass unstoppable you can punish every time, just make sure you have at least one kinetic charge up before you attack while he is unstoppable or he will pound you into the ground:)

You got some great options to be honest I can give some thoughts but only you will know who to upgrade 1. Killmonger is great for war to take out pesky evaders and also auto block champs like Medusa/Iron Man IW but I would not use a generic on him 2. Stark is good in war after you get a few poises up he hits hard, has taunt which can help on those all or nothing nodes, has power drain but yet again I do not think I use a gem on him, he is good without it. 3. Blade is worth an awakening in my opinion if you have not already have him awakened, his regeneration can help in so many areas 4. Domino is amazing for Damage, people plow through a lot of content with her 5. Cap IW really benefits from awakening, I would actually consider him but he is much better at higher sigs 6.Iceman is actually a good attacker in war because he is triple immune plus he can eat a special 3, problem with Iceman is he can be soft on damage so taking down mini bosses is often difficult with him without timing out at high tiers 7. Magik obviously great for power control in attack, but no immunitites 8. I do not think I would bring Arch Angel to war these days, to many nodes and immunity champs, really the opponent has to be able to bleed and poison for AA to really be effective, unless you are bringing him in for a specific champ Really comes down to what path you often take, what opponents give you the hardest time and which champs could you upgrade that will make your life easier in war and save potions, units, revives etc.

Mastery does not show a petrify debuff, it just does it behind the scenes. If you want to see the actual petrify debuff appear when you do parry you need to add a tech champion to your team, that is part of his leadership signature as seen below, armor break you have to have a cosmic champ on your team. Tech: 100% chance on a Well Timed Block to place a 25% Petrify Debuff on the Opponent for 10 seconds.

well it might not be working as much as it could and perhaps you do not notice, put it this way a 4 star at sig 1 has about a 40% chance to do one of his special abilities, so if you had an armor break cosmic on your team you have a 40% to inflict armor break each time you strike, but if you have a sig level of 99 you would have a 100% chance, so it is a big difference. It is not to drastic in normal day to day fights but if you are trying to do something like reverse regeneration with petrify having a high sig can certainly help. Is it a deal breaker? probably not just a lot more helpful
