Thats is a cool/interesting application of Chat GPT and GIS.. I have no experience doing something like that but seems to be really useful

I've used it to write Arcade scripts in pop-ups etc.

Great use for GPT, it is an absolute game changer for scripting!

Only good for entry level scripts, all you are doing is denying yourself the opportunity to actually learn the language/methods. You'll be the fastest entry level GIS tech out there I guess, but that's all you'll ever be good for.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I have been using GPT a lot to learn and develop GIS. I have a video coming out soon about the stuff I have learned with GPT!

Please for the love of god never do this for anything important. It will constantly lie to you or otherwise mislead. I've had junior staff make an absolute mess of high precision projects because they thought they could rely on an AI that understood the material even worse than they did.

Good point, there is absolutely a potential for mistakes and extremely detrimental mistakes with AI.. Nothing replaces hardcoded human knowledge and understanding at least yet... Do you have any topics or other takeaways that other people can learn from with the incident with Junior staff? (if you can talk about stuff like that)
