How to Use Commands in Scrap Mechanic Survival

Here's how to enable and use developer commands in Scrap Mechanic Survival. This works in creative and survival, but it's more useful in survival. Check the pinned comment for the list of commands!

Here are all of the commands. USE /help TO SEE ALL COMMANDS IN-GAME! means put a number here, means put true or false here, etc. /ammo : Give ammo (default 40) /spudgun: Give the spudgun /gatling: Give the potato gatling gun /shotgun: Give the fries shotgun /sunshake: Give 1 sunshake /baguette: Give 1 revival baguette /keycard: Give 1 keycard /powercore: Give 1 powercore /components : Give components (default 10) /glowsticks : Give components (default 10) /tumble : Set tumble state /god: Mechanic characters will take no damage /respawn: Respawn at last bed (or at the crash site) /encrypt: Restrict interactions in all warehouses /decrypt: Unrestrict interactions in all warehouses /limited: Use the limited inventory /unlimited: Use the unlimited inventory /ambush : Starts a 'random' encounter; /recreate: Recreate world /timeofday : Sets the time of the day as a fraction (0.5=mid day) /timeprogress : Enables or disables time progress /day: Disable time progression and set time to daytime /spawn : Spawn a unit: 'woc', 'tapebot', 'totebot', 'haybot', 'farmbot' /harvestable: : Create a harvestable: 'tree', 'stone' /cleardebug: Clear debug draw objects /export : Exports blueprint $SURVIVAL_DATA/LocalBlueprints/.blueprint /import : Imports blueprint $SURVIVAL_DATA/LocalBlueprints/.blueprint /starterkit: Spawn a starter kit /mechanicstartkit: Spawn a starter kit for starting at mechanic station /pipekit: Spawn a pipe kit /foodkit: Spawn a food kit /seedkit: Spawn a seed kit /die: Kill the player /sethp : Set player hp value /setwater : Set player water value /setfood : Set player food value /aggroall: All hostile units will be made aware of the player's position /goto : Teleport to predefined position 'here', 'start', 'hideout' /raid : Start a level raid at player position at wave in hours /stopraid: Cancel all incoming raids /disableraids : Disable raids if true /camera: Spawn a SplineCamera tool /printglobals: Print all global lua variables /clearpathnodes: Clear all path nodes in overworld /enablepathpotatoes : Creates path nodes at potato hits in overworld and links to previous node

with the spawn command you can spawn the boss with /spawn farmbot and a mechanic guy with /spawn with no arguments

Change the line of code to either back to it was at the start before you edited it, or just set the line that we changed to "if then true" to "if then false"

Theres a much easier way than this to enable dev mode before the if which he deleted put -- and the same before the end

I used it in a already existing world in 2021 and it does not only not work but also when i open the world the loading screen appears and everything loads normally until when i should appear in my world i appear in the main menu instead and when i re-open the worlds lits that world has just no fucking date Edit: im not blaling you, maybe it's just that the developers made that whenever you want to cheat in survival you get your world reset or cant even open it so that you dont loose your progress but still cant even play that world

If /help shows you the commands, it means you have commands enabled correctly. I don't think you did anything wrong?

Did you replace the script with the original from the description? If that doesn't work, try verifying the game files in steam (support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 ) and then launching. If that doesn't work, back up your save files and then reinstall the game (as a last resort).

There was an update a few days ago, which probably reset the code. You'll have to redo the code editing to get it to work again.
