Hello! Yes! Molding the cosplayflex over shaped Styrofoam is very effective. I prefer to to smooth out my base as much as possible prior to applying the cosplayflex.

So does the shinier side stick more to other surfaces? I'm gunna be turning a hammond collection trex into a glavenus from monsterhunter primarily using worbla/cosplayflex thermoplastic instead of miliput/apoxy sculpt to keep weight off of the figure

Hi Nate! To answer your question, no, the Shiny side doesn’t stick to other materials. I’ve found that unless SUPER heated it really doesn’t stick to anything but itself unless it’s heavily glued.

@@marcialilly4526 okay thank you. I did test the stuff I have one one of my hammond trexes and it somewhat stuck and has remained but I'll be using light amounts of the miliput to help reinforce everything(:

@@marcialilly4526 So it is much like silicone, in that way? would a silicone mat work just as well as a heat protective work surface?
