How to use Costway twin-tub washing machine. Wash, rinse, spin cycle. Very easy to use and washes just as good as household washing machine. We use ours in our travel trailer.

i purchased this machine also. the instructions are HILLARIOUS! Chinenglish. My guess is they simply took the chinese manual and ran it through Google Translate. My friends and I read them outloud over drinks from front to back every word, and we laughed so hard, we read 'em again. The manual alone is worth the money. Go read the section about preparation before washing. "1. To prevent vibrates the washing machine should be laid on smooth, horizontal. 2. Connect enterhose. Turn on the water cock strobe." Also, if your machine doesn't drain, make sure your HORSE is in the correct position. :D Also, you can wash "twine" in each cycle, a shirt is a "sark," and a towel is a "quilt." :D

This is a really good video. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and my back. So going up and down stairs kills me. I just bought this washer to use in the garage as I have a utility sink there. The “user manual “ is a joke and totally useless. Your video is so complete and answers all my questions. Thanks so much for making this video!❤❤

Awesome video. I have a container that collects the water i use when I am warming up my shower and I just repurpose that water for the wash and rinse cycle. Just an idea if anyone is trying to conserve their water.

I must say, that I really appreciate your thorough demonstration of how to use this machine. Yours is the best one that I have come across. The users manual was totally useless because it was so poorly written that it presented itself as though it was written by a totally illiterate individual. I have never seen a manual of such pathetic penmanship . Again thank you for sharing your wonderful video even though you may have been under the weather. You took the time to share this with social media. You have my fullest appreciation indeed.

I'm surprised you don't use your water inlet on the spinner side? When you open the spinner door you'll see inside there's a little white tray on the top that's where the water comes out to rinse your clothes. It's a lot quicker. You just open the lid transfer the water inlet hose from the left side and put it on the spinner side and then watch all the water go in and rinse your clothes at the same time. I'm only telling you this in case you didn't know if that's what it's for

I just bought the 18 lbs washer and should be receiving it tomorrow. I've watched many of these videos but have yet to see one particularly for the 18 lbs. washer. Here's a tip for you which makes sense. During the rinse, if you have soap bubbles left in your water, many actually spin after the wash then put it through the rinse cycle. You can also use baking soda and vinegar to strip your clothes of soaps and dirt so much easier in this little washer. I can't wait to get mine! I am sick of the large bulky washers and driers with the price tag that this new Power company is charging us. So excited!!! (odd I know! It's Laundry) lol

Less soap is better for a clearer rinse but the washer or rinse cycle can be repeated and if the washer is a 20lb washer its 8lbs wash and 12lbs spin cycle I love this machine I use my tub with a rubber mat underneath it in my apartment 😌 I use more water than necessary to take unnecessary pressure off the washers agitator and motor also keeping the spinner balanced is key to longevity of this portable washer/spinner dryer. GREAT VIDEO! I've had mine one year its a little over $200.00 now but worth every dime!

Thank you for the video demo. I bought mine used with no manual. When I went to Costway's website and downloaded the instructions they were hard to understand. I agree with you in regards to the hose for filling the washer. Why wouldn't the manufacture develop some kind of universal attachment to fit different faucets including hoses.

@mthomson4565 Жыл бұрын
Brilliant idea to just use the shower hose to fill with water instead of faffing around with adapters to try to make the hose fit. The hose is too short in any case and you would want to put the machine in the shower anyway for draining and spinning. Really helpful video overall - Thanks!

Here's a tip, the rinse is actually done on the spin side and you one would run water into the spin side while it's spinning for a min or two. Then turn the water off and let the clothes spin completely for three min or until nearly dry. This can only be done if you have the intake hoses hooked up. Because the spin side will not work of the lid is lifted.

I realize this video is old but, I could use some suggestions on the drain hose. I have had the machine for a few months and it works great. It's raised so, it drains fine. But for some reason, dirt/ gunk is building up on the inner hose walls. There's no simple disconnect and I'd rather not take the bottom off.
