The fact that the egg can't be pulled by a tornado feels like it's similar to the goblin cage. Mechanic wise, think of it like a golem that spawns a goblin cage instead of a golemite.

Looking back on the release date phoenix (which I somewhat abused to the point where I had level 7 mastery) is kind of scary, especially now how it’s pretty balanced. -killed by lightning -egg killed by the log -80% health and damage when revived Pretty balanced after 4 months of trial and error. 86% WIN RATE THO.

I feel like OJ missed the point of the Phoenix, which is interesting because he usually nails these interactions. Having the Phoenix die on your side of the map while defending is vaule. Either they log the egg ( updated nerf ) or you get a cheap, but effective push.
