The Goblin Barrel has a lot of tricky placements for bait decks. First we go over the basics of how to use and how to counter the Goblin Barrel. The basic tank synergies of the barrel. Another common type of barrel placement is one I like to call the "bad barrel", mostly seen used in lower areas with the attempt of stopping an oncoming skeleton army or valkyrie. The optimal response to this placement is to swiftly dish out a "Well Played".

You forgot 2 things. A very deep barrel is not used because skeletons or ice spirit can be used to activate the king. The second thing is that a snowball can be used on certain positions to activate the king too. This isn't used often, but I noticed that in clan wars it's somewhat relevant. But overall, great vid and keep it up!

Btw just as a quick note, i once hit all three goblins from the mid planted goblin barrel with perfect timing, but not fron the back of the tower, from the inner side. This means you can do it as well with minimum risk of wasting the ewiz.

The best placement for Gob barrel is if it's left princess tower you place it on the bottom left corner, because the Princess tower targets the goblin in the top right first. Just an FYI for 2:29

I think that it is important to say, how to start with 1st goblin barell. I am bait player so long time and i found, that it is important to start on one best possition. Because i dont want to activate king tower, I throw it on the opposite side of king tower closer to me. The enemy wont be able to activate king tower by tornado by this way. PS: Not best English Sorry 👌😅

against zap players you can barrel two tiles below the center of the princess tower, most players zap the tower directly, and this mitigates all damage to the gobs. Pretty useful in ladder as a zap is obviously easier to max out than a gob barrel.

If you do the ewiz thing make sure you plant him on a bottom corner tile so even if you are too late, he still catches two goblins

Great video as always, but you forgot to mention my favorite barrel, the short barrel, only works well if they are playing fireball but basically as soon as the log or zap is out of rotation,(and you know they will use fireball as a counter) throw it 2 or 3 tiles short and their fireball will completely miss and they won’t even know it 👌(I found this from tv Royale top 200 so I know it works at high level gameplay)

It's too easy to see the shadow. Even so, predict rocket to counter troops opponent uses to counter the barrel. You can even play tricky barrels more easily with rocket shadowing.

you can also counter a gob barrel with a skarmy. if you play it on the middle back of your tower you will counter all 3 goblins unless they play it on the side, even than they usually only get 1 or 2 hits.
