Hi! At this time the largest cup chain end with have is for PP24 size rhinestone chain. These are chains with 3.5mm rhinestones. I am sorry that we do not currently offer an end for an 8mm size chain but I will let our buying department know that there is interest in us carrying such a thing.

I appreciate that. I have to figure out how to attach this large rhinestone chain. I know I can buy ends for my 4mm chain but this larger size has been challenging.

Glad this video found you! It's tough to know what to call these things, and I think a lot of jewelry makers are missing out because they just don't know what to search for. They're so handy though!

Is there a way to make use of cup chain remnants by attaching pieces together without connectors? There has to be something we can do with leftovers that are too short individually to make anything out of?
@chestnut04179 жыл бұрын
+chestnut0417 My idea is to sacrifice one stone by gentle opening the claws, removing the stone and lifting the chain out of that setting and then connecting it to another desired piece, the same way - gently lifting the stone out of the setting and sliding the chain in, then replacing the stone.
@beadaholique9 жыл бұрын
+chestnut0417 I follow what you are saying but unfortunately the cup chain is connected via the little metal bridges between the stone settings, so even trying to lift the stone out and connect two pieces, will not help with the broken metal bridge. I too have tried to figure out a way to reconnect cup chain. Recently I taped a video showing how to cut apart cup chain so you could then use the individual settings in your beadwork, perhaps this might work for your chain remnants: www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-To-Cut-Rhinestone-Cup-Chain-To-Make-Beadable-Rhinestone-Settings.aspx. Rings are also a fun way to use scraps of cup chain. We have several ring projects with cup chain to choose from on our website: www.beadaholique.com/t-ba-ring-projects.aspx

I have size 8mm rhinestone chain that I am desperately trying to find cup chain ends to use on it. I need to attach the ends to a jump ring for a bracelet. Do you have this large size?

I have a rhinestone strand, but each is attached to a ribbon instead of the metal links. I want to make a 3 strand choker. What would you suggest using in this case?
@beadaholique5 жыл бұрын
I recommend sending a photo of your strands to service@beadaholique.com. We will be glad to make recommendations depending on the settings the rhinestones have. Thank you.

If I want to make a cup chain bracelet with a 2-row cup chain strand, where can I find cup chain ends for 2-row cup chains? Now companies have 2,3, and 4-row cup chains but I cannot find cup chain ends for them
@beadaholique6 жыл бұрын
We only carry single row cup chains and cup chain connectors. I did a brief internet search. I see what you mean by the 2,3 and 4-row cup chains. However, I was not able to find any specific connector for the multiple stranded cup chains.
@samryankay6 жыл бұрын
I was going to order some of the 2,3, and 4 row cup chains but If there aren't any ends to finish them for bracelets or necklaces then there isn't any point in buying them
@beadaholique6 жыл бұрын
We do not carry multi-strand cup-chain.
@samryankay6 жыл бұрын
I know you don't. I want to make a 3-row cup chain bracelet with one of your color cup chain strands between 2 of your clear cup chain strands. I thought you might carry ends for your customers who want to put more than one strand in a bracelet
@beadaholique6 жыл бұрын
We suggest using something like this: www.beadaholique.com/nunn-design-ribbon-cord-ends-barrel-17mm-2-pieces-bright-silver.html Example: www.beadaholique.com/becca-bracelet.html

Does this mean that if I buy cup chain from beadaholique, it doesn't come with ends? that is very important to know because I love your variety, but the chain I have bought other places does come with ends already.
@beadaholique10 жыл бұрын
We at beadaholique sell the bulk cup chain, meaning that you can buy as much as you like and we cut it for you. Because it is considered a bulk chain and not a finished piece of jewelry, it does not come with cup chain ends. We do however sell the cup chain ends so that you can finish your designs.
@CraftnMomma10 жыл бұрын
That is very good to.know, i wouldn't have thought about it and would have made something and just sat there like "well now what?" Lol!! Again, I live your variety!!

How do you attach a jump ring?
@beadaholique5 жыл бұрын
We recommend using open jump rings as they can opened and attached onto the cup chain ends. Thanks for watching!
