I used them in legal documents, when just some info are changing from a document to another. So, I have minimal changes, and the document is ready.

Is it possible to use custom properties in Calc? Could not find this function

For Calc, each cell is like a custom property. You can insert in any cell a value, and name the cell like "my_value" and anywhere in the sheet you can use the formula for a double value like =my_value*2

Click in the cell A1. In the top window, in the input bar, you will see "A1". Select the text A1 and delete it. Then write something like "text". Now if you insert in A1 the value 5, and in A2 the formula =text*2, you will get in A2 the value 10.

Not related with this video, but open LibreOffice and open your PDF from the menu File - Open. If elements are mixed on the page, you should use another tool.
