I bought an ankle weight (people use for walking) and strap it to my wrist to bring down the shakiness the human hand causes. weighting gimbles is an old trick. in fact I tried my steady cam rocker arm and mounted this to the top and its amazing. thanks for the video as always. lots of good stuff and you have fun doing it!

I bought mine a year ago. I was super excited to use it. I found this video and a couple others I saved but never watched this one. The others were too confusing. I put it back in its pouch and haven’t touched it again until today. I don’t really have a need for it though, I just wanted one because all the cool kids use them, lol! I just got this Gimbal yesterday and watching this video was so helpful and I'm going to watvh it a few more times and get to know it from your guide. First impressions was it's compact and well made. Cinematic and time lapse will be great with this Gimbal. I'm using s24 ultra and I do plan to use my Huawei P50pro too. I'd like to try and do time lapse of the Northern lights as I took great shots of the northern lights with the Huawei P40pro so it'll be interesting why not time lapse with Huawei P40pro? You sound like a pro and learning abouy this Gimbal from you gives me better understand on this Gimbal and getting the most from it too. Thanks very much for video!

A very helpful tutorial, thank you. One problem I have is when filming with the gimbal upside down to take ground level shots. You cannot press the record button and then turn the gimbal upside down because it records upside down - you have to turn the gimbal upside down and then press record. However, the controls are now all on the wrong side and hard to see and get at. Do you have any tips for filming in this mode?

I finally stopped using DJI gimbals. It’s a huge pain doing KZbin live streams that they always start in Portrait mode. I emailed their support about this, and they said there were no plans to even add an option to start the gimbal in landscape mode. I’m so confused by this. It’s frustrating that anytime I turn off my OM4, it flips up in the air and then flips into portrait mode every time. The Moza Mini MX just shuts off normally and then comes back on just as it was in landscape mode.

You practically bought a gimbal which is not suitable for your needs. DJI OM5 and also osmo mobile 6 is made for social media which is portrait mode…. I wish they made it clear when they offer this item
