One way I've used the d8 is I grab three of different colors. I roll them in connection with the Elder Futhark which is arranged in a grid of 3 rows of 8. I then take the rolled numbers to read the three Runes (one from each row) I've used this with multiple rolls with my Rune students to build modern Rune poems.

@@vibrantheart_guidance One valuable way to learn the inner lore of the Runes is by making connections. First, we start with pairs side by side, then triples, and so on. Then we can look at other pairings. With the die, we can gain a level of randomness, choose how many times we want to roll (how complex of a Runic story). Students enjoy it and in the end, they find new ways to explore and apply the Runes.

I personally use a set of two standard die that all together can equal to 12. 1 - 12 are the more important numbers in numerology. As far as cleansing/charging goes, I just sleep with my die under my pillow. Side note, I also have two sets of astrology dice that I use on the daily in conjunction with the numbered die.

D4 and D12 ca be used to gnrate the moters in geomancy. D10 can be used with numerology. All the dice can be used with their elemental corresondeces for their sacred geomatry shapes. I use a D14 with my Tarot charms set to generate what minor arcana card I get.

Loved watching this video ❤ when you roll the Di, do you read the number that’s flat on the surface you have rolled on or the one facing directly upwards? Especially with the D12 and D20 ? 😊

Great question lovebug! So I tend to read the side that’s facing upwards but that can be a matter of personal preference; I would mostly suggest to make a clear intention/declaration before rolling either way (i.e. “I will read ____ side as my answer” or “____ side means this while ____ side means that”) 🥰🥰🥰

I'm so glad you asked! While this isn't a necessary step it's one I recommend in general but specifically if you're asking a lot of questions at once. Much like any other divinatory tools, they can hold the energy of those involved in the situation as well as hold the energy from previous questions. Cleansing them between questions (or at least between situations you're asking about) can help to reduce any psychic double dipping so to speak, and can generally give you a clearer answer! Cleansing can be as intricate or simple as a person needs/desires; so even waving selenite over them or having sage burning can be easy low maintenance ways of consistently clearing the energy if you're utilizing the dice a lot for for many situations. Hello. I was curious about your timing dice such as D12 and D4 for months and weeks. For you personally have you found this to be accurate at what percentage? 90% 100% 80% of the time? Thank you for your time

Hi James! So that’s actually a great question and I’ll try to be as concise as I can be in my response: if I use a D12 for timing I do usually have it correspond to months- either months of the year (1= January, 2= February, etc…) or however many months from the time I am rolling it. For the D4 in terms of timing I usually use it to refer to seasons or weeks within a month. So for example if I rolled the D12 to find out when something was going to happen and got an 8, I could assume it may happen in August. If I then roll the D4 and got a 3, I could assume that it might happen around the 3 week of August. These are just some examples of how to use them for timing, but I would say the most important thing is to make sure you get very clear on your intended usage before using. (i.e. decide and state what the roll will mean very clearly before doing the roll, otherwise it could get confusing). In terms of accuracy, I personally don’t often use them for predictive timing exclusively all that often but when I have I’ve found they’re pretty accurate. If you’re interested I’m happy to make a separate video about why I don’t focus a lot on predictive timing as well. Great questions thank you so much for asking and sharing! ☺️🪷✨

Great question! So this is actually quickly covered in the video around 5:03 but the quick answer is that of the entire set the D8 and the D6 have the fewest divinatory uses in my personal opinion (even though I love D8s!). I use them primarily to establish an order of operations. For example, if I have a list of 8 goals and don't know which to focus on, I will make a list of the goals 1-8, ask my guides, meditate on the list, and then roll the D8- focusing on the corresponding number on the list (so if I roll a 2, I focus on the second goal on the list). If you are asking about timing within 6-8 weeks, months, or years, you can also roll these dice to get a better idea of when something may occur. Thanks for asking, I hope this has helped! 🧡

Great question! So without going into my whole rant about this topic (though if you are interested in hearing more please let me know and I will make a video about it), I find that divinatory tools can have two major uses- reflective and predictive. Personally, I think they're best when used reflectively to look at the energies present in depth to try to gain insight, clarity, and understanding. They can also be used predictively to try to gain answers about timing, yes/no answers, etc... This is completely fine, but I found to be less helpful because predictive answers can change based on the free will of all people involved in a situation, and using them predictively without the supporting reflective divination means that your answer could change and you wouldn't really have a decent understanding of why. So much like many other divination tools, I find it to be most accurate (and highly so) when using them to gain full understanding and clarity in a situation! This is why I also like to use them with other methods (like tarot cards) to see if they kind of corroborate each other! Hope this helps lovebug! 💛
