Hey, just sharing my experience with this. I really like these videos and wanted to try it for myself to prove that this is real and all. I got the dowsing rods (which were damn expensive cause of all the taxes and shipping costs for shipping it to Europe lol) and tried them twice without any answer or movement. Then on another day I tried them again after I'd gotten a big revelation from watching a Teal Swan workshop (she's awesome btw). And while sitting on the floor and holding the rods in my hand, I was just thinking about asking a silly question I already knew about the revelation I had and if it was accurate. I think that was the intention setting part which I did unintentionally 😅. Then I asked, first in my head and then out loud something along the lines of: 'Hi, if there's anyone there who's willing to answer this one question, please let me know by crossing the rods to indicate "yes".' And to my surprise the rods crossed fairly quickly. Then I was like: 'Oh wow, thank you so much. And could you also open them to indicate "no".' And again the rods opened quite quickly. Then the rods went to "neutral" out of themselves and I began explaining my question and asked if my revelation was accurate, and the rods crossed yet again very smoothly but decisively. This got me pretty excited of course and I realized that I forgot to ask who I'm talking to so I was like: 'Oh ehm sorry, I forgot to ask who I'm speaking to and now I feel super impolite. Would you mind telling me if I'm speaking to one of my spirit guides?' and the rods crossed once more to indicate "yes". I was super excited and thanked them a lot for answering and being my spirit guide before saying goodbye. I wanted to share this because it helps me a lot when I read people's personal experiences in the comments. So I hope this might be relatable or encouraging to someone else.

I’ve never seen these before and I think they are very interesting. I will keep watching your videos and learning so I can feel more comfortable and ready to use mine when I get them. Part of me is very skeptical but also very curious and excited to see how they work with me. I will be using them just for my own private spiritual learning and experience. Ask your higher power for protection. I even visualize a pure white translucent shinny orb around me that’s glowing with light. Believe and trust you are being protected. It’s mostly mindset in my opinion

My rods are very resistant. They shake but dont cross. Do you have a theory tonehy this is happening? I am practiced at grounding and start in a meditative state. Thanks in advance, and thanks for your videos!

I love dowsing rods 😊❤ its really cool to see someone else using them and getting quick responses. My friends have tried using mine a couple of times and did get responses for a question or two but then the energy just seems to stop.

Some folks do opening and closing prayers! You can say something really simple like “please protect me things that are not in my highest and best good” and I’d say something like “thank you for your time and protection, this session is now closed” to end it. Doesn’t have to be complicated but certain a ritual you can do!

I just ordered some rods through your affiliate link. This reminds me a lot of muscle testing. Have you ever experimented with that? Dr. David Hawkins speaks a lot about muscle testing, but you need a partner to do it the best.

So, if you're asking & the rods indicate that you are talking to a demonic entity, do you ask it to leave? That would freak me out.

You could also ask the demon a hundred questions, it's not like in horror movies. They are pleased to answer and play with you. Once enough you can kindly ask it to leave. If it doesn't want to leave, you can call upon your guides, angels or archangel Michael to make it leave. You can also visualize a golden light sphere glowing and growing from your heart. That scares them away... This works for me!

If you properly protect yourself with light and love before the session, it will be difficult for a demon or a lower astral entity to approach you.

This is really good... and I'm taken with the rod videos. That said, at 02:17 you mention "being well grounded"... What does that mean? Do you mean spiritually or mentally? (Not a trick question) - When I have to concentrate at work and when I meditate I am barefoot which grounds me to the floor. Is that the type of grounding you are referring to?

I’d say spiritually/with your energy body. I’m not totally sure if mentally grounded is different, so I’m not sure I can answer accurately! I’d liken it more to bare feet on the ground and meditation and less like concentrating at work. Does that help?

Got it. Thank you,@@SolarGlowMeditations. My rods arrived and I tried them out today. The agreement of crossing for "yes" and opening wide for "no" was virtually instant. Like, there was no doubt that it wasn't me. However, that's about as far as I got. I was sitting on the floor in my office and I was curious if you've ever had an experience where that's as far as you got. Thank you for the inspiration. I had cameras running for my ASMR channel and I'm curious if a spirit guide has ever not wanted to work on camera (or does that matter). I asked and got no response.

I’m sorry, I’m just seeing your reply! I did struggle when I first started to get them to move. I’d suggest starting with simple questions that you know the right answer to like “is my name Megan?” “Do I have a dog?” to help get used to them and level set. It also helps you get a feel for how they move and to help you relax a bit into the practice.

I’ve certainly had some days when I’ve stopped filming too because the energy isn’t right or I keep getting disrupted or they aren’t in the mood to move. On or off camera hasn’t been a big factor for me, but it certainly could be. You can totally ask too!

I’ve tried this but the rods just swing wildly and never “settle” to a neutral position. I start grounded and calm, but the rods just bounce everywhere. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

you might have to relax more, i believe you might be a bit shaky and need to learn how to control yourself so they. can move more freely

Same here but I kept trying....after a while the my more I let go the responses would come. I was very worried about inadvertently physically influencing the rods then I just made it like an open ended convo and that helped. I wasn't searching for the entities energy it was working but I was just feeling the rods not the actual energy.

Muscle control is a huge part of this. To find neutral position, after asking Jesus Christ to protect me I use minute muscle contractions until I know the smallest inputs to move the rods in any directions. I take note in those and ensure I do not allow any to happen after I am in the neutral position. Doing this ensures there is no self input influence, leaving the only influence possible to be outside influence. Using this practice, I have yet to experience a successful interaction with divining rods. I’m not sure what this means, and intend to further my research.

This is exactly what I think about when I see people using dowsing rods and pendulums. What tiny muscle movements are affecting the movement? I remember watching a ghost show a while back where some lady was using a pendulum and I could see her hand moving to make it go back and forth or in a circle. I figure it's pretty easy to tilt your hands slightly inwards or outwards to get specific answers with dowsing rods. I'm not saying it's done on purpose, but it seems like it would be easy to do inadvertently. That said, I have watched Solar Glow's videos carefully and so far I haven't detected this kind of thing happening.
