I bought this and tried to apply the coating myself But the precoat spray is very hard to use, I tried both spraying directly to the surface and spray on a cloth then wipe the surface Both method made the surface sticky and foggy , I scare that the final result won't be as good as shown in the video Black residue left on the application cloth and I pour a few drops on a white paper , indeed there are many black substances in the coating liquid I don't know whether it is the "graphene" or my bottle went bad

Applying coatings can sometimes be a bit tricky, but I'll try my best to help you out. Regarding the precoat spray, there are a couple of methods you can try. One is spraying directly onto the surface, and the other is spraying it onto a cloth and then wiping the surface. However, it seems like both methods have resulted in a sticky and foggy surface for you. This could be due to a few reasons. One possibility is that you might be applying too much product. Try using a lighter touch and see if that helps. Additionally, make sure you're using 2 clean, lint-free cloths for wiping off the product. Using a dirty or low-quality cloth could leave residues behind. Graphene-based coatings can have a dark appearance, so it could be the nature of the product itself. Just make sure you shake the bottle thoroughly before applying. Lastly, if the precoat spray isn't working well for you, you can consider an alternative approach. Instead of using the precoat, you can try using isopropyl alcohol as a preparation step before applying the coating. This will help remove any contaminants and oils from the pores of the paint, ensuring better adhesion of the coating. I hope this works. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Disappointing and abnormal. It certainly beaded very well, as most coatings. But I realized, most of the beads didnt move much. Hence, after stopping the water, the surface was full of water beads. And the beading didnt look like the typical beads of a coated paintwork. Looks more like beads on a freshly waxed surface. Even worse, when the trunk lid was fully opened..vertical…most of those beads didnt roll down. They just remained “stuck” on that vertical trunk lid. Very unusual. And this product didnt add much gloss to the extensively compounded and polished silver paintwork. It wont make you go WOW! However, I did note that it kept the entire car looking relatively cleaner for longer after driving through rain.

Okay so I bought this instead of buying IGL window and IGL Wheels. Is it better to just use EZ on wheels and windows instead of buying wheels and windows?

I just applied the above prdt on glass and powder-coated factory wheels. No issues at all

Tried it today on a wetsanded, well rotary’ed silver paintwork. 80degF 86% humidity. Tropical weather. Indoor. Very easy to apply. 100% no issues. On silver and white, its very difficult to see any forms of flashing. Seems to hv no indications of flashing. Waited 1min after application and buffed….it buffed away very easily with many types of mf cloths👍, with no high-spots issues. In such temps, it be buffed away immediately…no issues. Will leave the car undriven for the next 4 days over the holidays.
