Hi Thanks for the video but I think FB and Messenger now is so much different/change from the time you post this video. I'd like to ask you how do I set up/post your profile/picture with a messenger tab so that anyone can send me a direct MESSAGE instead of LIKE COMMENT SHARE or SEND and even when I click on SEND, I cannot seem to send message to the individual. Very good video. Question...I've had Messenger for a while, but now, all of a sudden, I no longer have the phone & video icons when selecting a contact via either the compose icon or from a conversation. All my permissions, phone and camera are set On. Any suggestions, please.

I accidentally found out that the phone/video icons appear if you are replying to an existing messenger text that you haven't deleted....still not for a "new" messenger text. You have to send a quick text "I'm going to call you" to get the icons. Seems screwy. This may be a part of the Messenger/Instagram merger just like the color purple being included in Messenger icons. The phone/video icons are now purple instead of blue. Instructions haven't yet caught up.

Why am I getting notifications saying I have a new message. It says it’s in Messenger. It used to says So and So sent a new message it replied, etc. I want that back and get rid of the other generic thing!! I hate the way Facebook message works. Sometimes the letter just disappears. And there is no way to get it back. Why don't they improve Facebook? Also it doesn't correct spelling like Email does. And when you write, it is clear down at the bottom of the page. I just hate that it so low on the screen. They need to improve saving letters and have a 2 step system to remove a letter from the screen and moving the space up from the bottom of the screen,,,,,,,,,,,
