How to use Fiducials Marks and Why it's so Important? (lecture 6)

I have questions. If i am making 2 layer pcb, and surface mount components are available only top layer(not bottom), do i need to make fudicial mark bottom layer? Is there any standard size for fudicial marks?

No need to place fiducial mark in bottom layer as you said there is no surface mount components in bottom.

Minimum diameter of fudicial mark is 40 mils (1mm).
