This totally makes sense from where the product came from. Residential areas near CBD where convenience and property prices could make a risk of 1-2 days flooding of up to 6 feet high worth it 😆 it is perfectly normal other days of the year. To those saying just bring it somewhere high, mall parking lots here do offer that for free in anticipation of a strong typhoon. Just the problem of having to get back home knowing the floods would subside next day... Hope it gets improved with some of the suggestions here and goes commercial again

While this is great when a flood is coming, keeping your cars sealed in bags like these for storage is a bad idea. Because this bag will trap moisture in which will make the car rust like crazy. But for flood damage, yeah short term storage, this bag will save your car. (As long as it doesn't just float around and crash into something.)

Will this protect a car if the car is 100% under water. Will water seep through te zipper? I lived in southeast texas and we just went through an aweful hurricane. I was lucky enough that thw water for our vehicles only reached the rocker panels., but next time we may not be so lucky. Many neigbors and people in our town had their cars completely under water. Will this prevent that, and is there some type of guarentee that it will?
@revaddict7 жыл бұрын
I am guessing that the zippers are folded and kept as high as possible (while trying to secure the ends).. You can see that at 0:55.. Technically there can never be something everything proof.. I'd imagine if there is some debris in the water and it came gushing in this could also tear.. But this is still a lot better than nothing..
@jamie.t.k.hulinjr40617 жыл бұрын
xXxGnuVirusxXx Lol?? Really?? there's no guarantees in a hurricane. I went through it many times. What we did was take our vehicle and parked it miles and miles away from the storm when we had our more than enough time to get out of dodge week notice that a storm was coming. GEEZ. I mean, was this storm REALLY A SURPRIZE!!???
@boat68687 жыл бұрын
With this bag the car should not get 100% under water because once the water gets to a certain height (approx. 2 feet) the bag and the car inside of it actually begin to float...so no matter how high the water gets the car will just float on top (assuming you do not have the vehicle in an enclosed structure that has a roof) They talk about the floating at 2 minutes into the video.

I dont think those straps on the post can prevent the car from moving if half of the vehicle is submerge or floating, the buoyancy will take effect and those straps cant hold off a ton of weight waving through the water. The plastic seal will work protecting this on kneed deep waters but not higher than that and if the water is moving.
