so you put the gameshark lite cd into the ps1. load it up, select the codes you want, then... uhh do u select "start" or something and switch disc? i never understood that step (ive never used one)

@JeremiahAtkins-ej8ft it works on ps2 for ps1 games. It's the only one that does I had a regular ps1 gameshark and it wouldn't work for ps1 games on it but I heard about that one and found one st gamestop in the 2000s. Still got it

Quick question, is the Lite incompatible with Dualshock 2? Been trying to use it on my PSX, and it boots up just fine, but I can't actually do anything on the screen desptie my Dualshock working just fine.(works fine on games, analog button lights up when I have the Gameshark in)

You cannot use dualshock on the ps1 bios. Ik bc I have one. You have to disable it then navigate the menu by using the d pad.

I actually just put it in my PS1 and played the video, recording to my VCR

What do you mean? Like I used the VHS side to record then the DVD side to dub the tape to, if you're talking about the PS1 video, the disc has an on menu option to play "How to use the game shark". I actually didn't need any USBs or anything

@@doddsino a little late to the party. are you saying this only works on ps2. Cause I’m trying on pS1 and all I get is a black screen after insert my game CD
