Excellent gladiator video, his damage potential is crazy, ive cleared winter soldier in 30 seconds flat and with multiple ways to inflict damage. Hes a top 5 attacker for sure

I just got a 7* Gladiator from a 7*nexus. I knew he was good after the buff but didnt fully understand his offensive abilities. Amazing stuff. Now to go practice using the hitting into special attacks rotation. Seems like the way to go.

(dumb. i know) but once in a while there are fights that i have to learn the fight. if you could make videos of stronger defenders you fight in incursions, that would be nice. specially those that are brown pants moments. lol thank you.

Simula, do you find the AI has changed since you made this video? I am no longer confident in the initial phase of this set up where after you heavy, dash back, dash in and they'll "always" hold block. They usually do.. but not always. I've been hit with the opponent med or light intercepting me with intimidate on. Also I'm not confident in them holding the sp at all while they have intimidate on (if I were to heavy repeatedly later in the ramp process). I don't want to say he's a complicated champ, he's not, but AI needs to cooperate or you lose the ramp and take dmg trying to get him set up.

Remember that AI effects like Intimidate and Infuriate are never guaranteed, so it really becomes about risk vs reward. In my experience with him defenders will hold block as long as they have the space to retreat before doing so. Once they're cornered, all bets are off. In fights that matter I would never try to heavy outside of a combo when they have a bar of power because as you say, they can just use the special and punish you. Remember that you gain 2 confidence just for using your heavy, so you once you get a bit of confidence going, you don't necessarily need to continue ramping aggressively.

​@@simula67 thank you for that quick response and advice. I can say for certain that the heavy dash back dash in and they'll hold block is not reliable. I just did a fight in rol, ws went as it should, capt marvel dashed back as I dashed in and hit me, some call like a side step intercept. It's not reliable. In bgs that's all it takes to lose a match. It's frustrating because it hasn't always been this way. And I'll say, rol is far from an aggressively tuned AI.. If it happens there it has to happen everywhere As an edit, just did another 2 fights in rol, the heavy attack when you're at 10 confidence to refresh the confidence (after 2 rounds of hitting in the block) were avoided by WS. One time he dashed back with intimidate and the other time he just hit me during my heavy. I recorded a few of these as proof but it's happening so frequently maybe that's not necessary.

Gladiator, no question. Adam is one of the highest skill cap champs in the game because he is much, much harder to work with when the taunt doesn't go your way.
