If you don’t “ball up” your cloth, you get a smoother glaze finish if your cloth does not have wrinkles/folds in the area you’re using to wipe with.

Can you put this stain over already stained cabinets without stripping them just to make them darker?

Thank you for the demo on glazing kitchen cabinets. I'm curious as to what colour you used on the cabinets. I'm thinking the light neutral with antiquing glaze will achieve the right colour intensity/hue I'd like for my kitchen. I've also been considering applying Bedford and then adding a custom pewter metallic glaze. Would your sample topped with the antiquing glaze have a similar result? Thank you!

Beautiful! I have a question... I have a table set that has a light wood top - if I don't want to paint the top can I use a clear glaze mixed with a bit of Fusion paint, do the wipe back, and use a tough coat? Meaning, I wouldn't have to sand the table, apply paint, dry, then glaze/topcoat? What process does a surface have to go through just to use the glaze/topcoat look? Thanks! Haven't tried the paint yet but I am loving the results of other projects! Very inspirational! I read a lot about sanding/cleaning, but what, if anything, are people using to strip layers of paint off old furniture? Or is it necessary? Thanks again!
