Thank you for this. I’ve been trying to come up with any easy bird cam- I have two birdsy cams and they are more trouble than anything and were expensive. We did find and old “ion air pro wifi camera” laying around. May try to use it.

Sounds like a great application. Only problem is your limited by battery life. Add an external battery and you will be set.

How long does your battery last while doing this?

Depends on how much activity and different settings. I’ve never gone beyond 30 to 45 minutes, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t. I just know how much of a battery hog GoPros are and shit down my setup before the battery dies. If there is no rain in the forecast, you could always go with an external battery pack or the Volta.

Followed everything , updated camera, installed QR Control app, created QR code as illustrated , saved. MY Go Pro 9 does not read the QR code... no check mark. Tried numerous times.

Got it. Initially I just did a plain Go Pro update but after also downloading the Labs update I got a check mark. First attempt nothing was recorded despite birds observed at the feeder. Now trying a second attempt.

Yeah you know labs is installed because it shows up on the back screen as GoProLabs. So did you get the QR code to work right?

In the QR control app is the slider moved to repeat?
