I have FCX Pro on 10.7.1 with M3 Maxcurrent os and it does not have keyer anymore, is there another setting or hidden somewhere, i see all the transition installed, except keyers and does not show it would work.

Keyer is gone and now it's called Green Screen Key but it's not working anywhere as good as before. My Green isn't disappearing and looks and if I manage to remove it, it comes back after a few frames.

is there a way to add green screen digitally in post production. I filmed a scene but the it was zoomed out, so there is a lot of area around that doesn't have green screen. can I add digitally some how?

so would it be wise to render your shot greensreen content down and then start a new project and go from there with adding the backgrounds and such? Right now, I've just got chopped up visuals and a bunch of disabled clips running together with the selected scenes. So, Kinda a mess. Just wondering how you pro's do it. I just rendered a 4k down and gonna try this out.

When I move my green screen footage to motion vfx, the keyed out area is just a black box where the green screen was and my figure is inside the black box. Can is there a method to have just my figure as a file and not the black background around them?

No, I don’t believe final cut is available for iPad. iMovie is the closest apple app, however I recommend looking at LumaFusion If you want something more advanced with features including green screening.
