Nothing to worry just follow the steps in the manual and scan the default code or the one which you need. If you don't have the manual then search it on Google, you'll surely find the pdf of the same.

1250g vs yj3300, which one is better and why?

If your requirement is to scan very few barcodes per day then YJ3300 will be apt else 1250G is evergreen.
