Oh finally, I've been hitting refresh for days looking for part 2. Let the show begin.

I bought some hydroslick from you but it has the consistency of apple sauce. Very chunky even after shaking hard. Yours looks more creamy. Is it still ok to use?
@DA_Buddha Жыл бұрын
So would the ideal setup be decon the car, then hydro charge, hydro slick and then hydro suds to maintain? Or would hydro speed make more sense for maintenance ? Car would be kept outside 24/7 btw.

Nice video! Will the hydroslick coat withstand the spinning war wash brushes?

After hydro slick application,, It is necessary to apply another layer of wax like butter wet wax or it's works like a normal wax in protection??

I was under the influence that I should use Hydro Charge 1st then Hydro Slick. Am I correct and what is the wait time between those 2? Thanks.
@ChemicalGuys Жыл бұрын
That's correct! Allow at least 3 hours in between coatings.

1. How long does it last? 2. Is it normal for the water drop to "stay" on the panel than to fall down as it happens to the uncoated side?
@lukastembergerАй бұрын
I bought a car and I'm ready to give it maximum protection :) I got Hydro Slick, Ultimate Glaze, Jet Seal and Lucent Spray Shine. The issue is, I don't have a garage. If I wait 3 hours between coatings, there will probably be contamination on it from trees and stuff. How do I deal with that?
@anthonycaridi5959 Жыл бұрын
My hydro slick don’t look like how that looks. Mine looks like it’s not mixing when I shake it up.
@RelaxedKoi Жыл бұрын
My garage is hot and will probably end up hardening the ceramic. I wish it was easier.
@ChemicalGuys Жыл бұрын

@@ChemicalGuys what would be the most ideal temps to work under? The valley in SoCal is brutal lol!
@Silky_boi Жыл бұрын
@@RelaxedKoiI hear ya, even at 6AM it can already be 90 degrees. Biggest thing I noticed is not allowing the sun to contact the car as it’ll dry it up quick. If you have enough lamps you can do around sun down at 7ish and work panels at a time. Otherwise find a friend who has an air conditioned garage or wait till October/November

Can you apply Hydro Slick with a buffer or do you need to just use the microfiber sponge.

Can you apply hydro charge after you apply hydro slick? Or does the hydro charge go on before the hydroslick?
@chill521 Жыл бұрын
Hydro Charge + (that's the newest and better version) goes on first because it forms a hard shell, remember that, then add the hydroslick.

@arrozconmgtow5026 Жыл бұрын
The HydroCHARGE+ and HydroSLICK combo is supposed to last a year but if you're familiar with the wild claims made by ceramic makers/vendors...even if you boost it with a SiO2 infused car shampoo and really baby that you're probably only going to come in about 10 months if you're lucky.
@RonColeman-zy5cd Жыл бұрын
@@arrozconmgtow5026 Thank you my friend I'm just trying to figure out all the different products and what works and what doesn't. So do you think the HydroCharge and the HydroSlick to be pretty good stuff
@sectech221 Жыл бұрын
@@RonColeman-zy5cdI haven’t tried HydroCharge Plus yet, but I’ve got hydro slick on my truck and wife’s car. We both love it. Easy to apply, easy to buff off, and the shine is amazing. Don’t be afraid of it being a ceramic product. It truly is easy to use. Identical to a wax.

I started at 7:30 AM on Saturday. Took like a 30 minute break for breakfast finished at 5:30 PM. Use clean slate to move all the protectant or whatever it is on my Tahoe. Clayed, is my torx da15 with v36 and v 38 then Black light glaze, and Jet seal. Could not apply the butter wet wax as the jet seal needs 12 hours to cure. Also did not put on slick after polishing because I forgot and didn’t know I was supposed to do that first.
