Instance Scheduler on AWS automates the starting and stopping of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) instances. Automating this process helps reduce operational costs. You can stop resources that are not in use and start them back up as soon as you need them. This AWS Solution uses resource tags and AWS Lambda to automatically stop and start instances, and it can be deployed across multiple AWS Regions based on a schedule you define.

Instance Selector helps you select compatible instance types for your application to run on. The command line interface can be passed resource criteria like vcpus, memory, network performance, and much more and then return the available, matching instance types.
